How to Rename Your Media Files

Rename your movies, TV shows, anime, and music in 4 simple steps. No software to install — everything works in your browser.

    1

    Select your files

Click the folder button to open your media folder. RenameFlow reads your files directly from your computer.

Your files never leave your device. We use the browser's File System Access API for direct, secure access.

    2

    Automatic detection

RenameFlow analyzes file names and detects the type of media: movie, series, anime, or music.

The parser extracts title, year, season, episode, quality, and codec information from even the most complex file names.

    3

    Match with databases

We search TMDB, TheTVDB, and MusicBrainz to find the exact match for your media.

You can review each match and choose the correct one if multiple results are found.

    4

    Preview and rename

Review the new file names in the preview panel, then click Rename to apply all changes instantly.

Changes are applied directly to your file system. You can see the before/after comparison before confirming.
